Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data TDLab collects, how it is used and what choices users have.

1. Data we collect
Depending on how you use TDLab, we may collect:
- account data, such as name, email address, password hash and authentication metadata;
- billing data handled through Paddle, such as subscription status, customer id and payment events;
- trading data you upload or sync, including trades, accounts, tags, notes, journal entries and attached files;
- usage and technical data, such as login events, feature usage, IP address, browser, device and error logs;
- support messages and other communications you send to us.
2. How we use data
We use data to:
- provide, secure and maintain the TDLab service;
- import, analyze and display your trading data inside your account;
- process subscriptions, enforce plan limits and manage billing events;
- send account, security, billing and product emails;
- detect abuse, debug errors and improve product quality.
3. AI and analytics processing
TDLab may process your account and trading data to generate analytics, discipline signals, simulations, action plans and AI-assisted explanations. AI outputs are generated to support review and reflection and are not financial advice.
4. Legal bases
For users in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process personal data where necessary to perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, or where consent is required.
5. Processors and third parties
We may use trusted service providers for hosting, database operations, email delivery, payment processing, analytics, error monitoring and AI functionality. Paddle may act as merchant of record for payments and handles payment data according to its own policies.
We do not sell your trade data. We do not share your private account data with other users unless you explicitly choose to do so through a future sharing feature.
6. Cookies
TDLab uses essential cookies for authentication, security and session management. If analytics or marketing cookies are introduced, they will be disclosed and controlled through an appropriate consent mechanism where required.
7. Retention
We retain account and trading data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and maintain backups. Logs and backups are retained for limited operational periods.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data. You can request help by contacting support@tradingdisciplinelab.com.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect user data, including authenticated access, database-backed permissions and operational logging. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as TDLab evolves. The latest version will always be available on this page.
