Connecting cTrader for auto-sync

Updated Jul 8, 20263 min read

If you trade on cTrader, you can connect it directly instead of uploading files. TDLab uses the cTrader Open API to import your closed trades.

Requirements

Your TDLab account’s platform must be set to cTrader, and the cTrader Open API must be configured on the TDLab instance. If it isn’t configured, the Connect button is disabled with a note.

Connect your account

  1. Select a cTrader trading account.
  2. Open the Auto-sync tab and click Connect cTrader.
  3. Authorize TDLab in the cTrader window that opens.
  4. If your authorization has more than one trading account, pick the one to link (each card shows Live/Demo, the trader login and broker).

Once linked, the panel shows your trader login, account ID, environment, last sync and imported count.

Syncing

Click Sync nowto import new closed trades. Each sync only adds operations that aren’t already there. You can Disconnect at any time.

Sync is manual

cTrader sync runs when you click Sync now; there is no automatic background schedule for cTrader. For hands-off syncing on MetaTrader, see the FTP sync guide.
